I'm trying to use SUMO for my research and want to ask a question. Can I give interrupt SUMO simulation at runtime? such as turning one traffic light to red light, or shutting down a certain lane or road at runtime. The paper I found 'A SUMO based evaluation of road incidents' impact on traffic congestion level in smart cities (written by D.Smith et al.)' mentioned 'using TraCI alongside SUMO so that the routes can be redefined during runtime'. However I think what they said is changing 'routes' of the vehicle, not changing traffic light or road, which is related to what I want to modify the simulation at runtime. Thank you.
