I was wondering what is a ValueType "shape". This can be found when trying to
retrieve the variable shape of a lane
http://sumo.dlr.de/wiki/TraCI/Lane_Value_Retrieval and I realised it is some
collection of (X,Y) points, but I would like to know what do these points
represent.
My goal is to retrieve the information about all the lanes in order to make a
graphical representation of them. I can retrieve the length of the lane, the
width, and this "shape" collection, but if I don't know what do this (X,Y)
points refer to (I guess they would be the different vertex, but I would like
to know if they are in the middle point of the lane or in one corner or what
exactly).
Also,I have observed that in some cases the lane shape is only including one
(X,Y) point. Then, how could I determine the direction in which this lane is
extending?
