Hi.

I am using a rather recent svn head build, on Linux Ubuntu xenial.
As I just found out when loading the tutorial file in
"sumo/tests/complex/tutorial/traci_tls/data/cross.net.xml"
the open-File dialog's scroll bar shows similar behavior, only inversed:
* it is always possible to scroll down with the mouse
* but it is barely possible to scroll back up

My Windows installation of packaged 0.28 shows no such effects.
So this problem is maybe connected to the GUI library and its communication
with the Ubuntu desktop environment or X-server?

thanks, let me know if I can help.

Gerald.

Hello,
I've experience this sometimes but cannot reproduce it at the moment. If you
have a scenario where this can be reproduced somewhat reliably I'll gladly take
a look (windows or linux?)

best regards,
Jakob

Hi everyone,

as long as I remember using sumo there has been a problem when using the mouse
wheel
to zoom out of a certain scenario view.

The mouse wheel events often either go undetected, or briefly cause some
step(s) in the desired direction at a much smaller incremental rate than when
zooming in and then partly hop back again in the outward direction as if some
of the zoom-in signals were sent briefly afterwards. This causes a "sticking"
behavior.
At other times things work fine for brief periods.

This is only the case in 1 zooming direction, while the other works as expected.
I see similar behavior in netedit.

And my mouse works fine in all other applications.

Does anybody experience these effects too?
I have not found specific reports on Trac or the mailing list.

Cheers,

Gerald.
