1. Thanks for pointing out this bug. It is fixed in the latest development version 2. there is no direct way to do so. You can easily computed this by using getCurrentTime(), simulationStep(), getCurrentTime() and subtracting the times. 3. vehicle.setShapeClass() (in the latest development version) 4. There is still no method to do so. The accepted workaround is to try a gui command and possibly catch the exception 5. see http://sumo.dlr.de/trac.wsgi/ticket/2524
