Hello,
I am generating a pedestrian demand using the pedestrianFlow.py tool and I set the model to be "striping" in the sumo config file. However when I run the simulation and print out the speed of the pedestrian they do not seem to be affected by the dawdling motion. Pedestrians are traveling at an unregulated crossing in a similar configuration as the tutorial. By calling traci.person.getSpeed(), I always have either the maximum velocity (1.20 m/s) or 0.00m/s when the person is stopped. Why isn't the speed value changing by some random amount at each time step as indicated in the model specification?
