Dear SUMO users, It came to our knowledge that certain email providers no longer support receiving emails from the sumo-user mailing list. As far as we know this concerns yahoomail and hotmail but other email accounts might be affected as well. The reason why those email providers are blocking our mailing list can be found here: https://yahoomail.tumblr.com/post/82426900353/yahoo-dmarc-policy-change-what-should-senders
Since we have no influence on the methods how the concerning email providers classify emails into spam or not spam, we can only suggest to subscribe from a different email account to the sumo-user mailing list. There are usually no problems with institutional email accounts. If your institution does not provide email accounts you might also consider gmail as an alternative. Bottom line: If you think you are no longer receiving emails from the sumo-user list, consider subscribing from a different email provider.
