I am Aditya Srinivas from IIIT-Hyderabad working on my Masters thesis. As
part of this I was searching for a traffic simulator that would have an
accident generation model that I can build upon. Looking through the
documentation I realized that while SUMO provides functionality to model
accidents, it does not seem to provide a standard accident generation module
that I can just call or reference. I therefore wanted to check if there was any
project that had worked on accident modelling in sumo and if yes could I have
an access to the relevant publication or code. It would be ideal if I can
situate my work on a standard or accepted accident generation module instead of
me generating those instances in an ad-hoc fashion, hence my request.
Appreciate your feedback on this issue.
