Dear all,
I wish to set the speed of certain vehicles periodically, as dictated by an
external source (FCD). I do not want the vehicles to blindly adhere to this
speed, rather I just want their instantaneous velocity to be set to the given
value, after which the car following model should control further progression
of the speed.
Could this be achieved by sending multiple TraCI calls, first setting the speed
to the external value and then setting the speed to -1, indicating that it
should be controlled the car following model? If not, is there another way to
achieve this effect?
