Hello,
Sumo is the application throwing the Bad Address error.
So far all occurrences have taken place when not debugging SUMO. I have placed
a breakpoint on the throwing clause, but it has not yet been triggered (over
the course of several runs). The error has been triggered by code which is
executed frequently, usually without any error. Thus far there have been
documented cases of calls to:
* Vehicle::GetLanePosition
* Vehicle::IDList
However, since the error takes place before any actual TraCIServer logic, we
suspect target component of the request to be irrelevant.

you are the first to report this. Please clarify:
- who is throwing the Bad Address error (your client or SUMO)?
- if SUMO crashes, have you run it in a debugger and determined where it
crashes?
It is quite plausible that SUMO can be made to crash when receiving invalid
client input. Even though there is quite a lot of client input validation, we
don't have regression tests for all kinds of bad client behavior.

Hello all,
During runs with our java TraCI client against SUMO, we've encountered several
occurrences of a random Bad Address error which causes an application shutdown
in SUMO. Is this a known issue? Could it be caused by errors in our
implementation of TraCI? If so, what should we be on the lookout for?
