Thanks. Some bus stops are missing in OSM but I do know their lat/long. When I
manually add them in SUMO (additonal.xml) by converting the lat/long to x/y
coordinates, I found that many of them are not on a specific edge (I guess
either the OSM map is not up to date or the lat/long of the bus stops are not
accurate enough). Any idea how to handle such scenarios?

Hello,

if you use OSM as data source, you can import the bus stations directly:

It is recommended to use the latest development version as it contains several
improvements to stop position export.

Hello all,

I have a question regarding adding POIs using its latitude and longitude in
SUMO. I have a number of bus stations with their latitude/longitude and I can
find the X, Y coordinates in SUMO however I have a hard time locating these
POIs to specific lanes/edges in SUMO. Any idea how to link these POIs to the
appropriate edges/lanes (I'm using OSM for the net.xml).

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
-Wei
