1) you need to add the option --sidewalks.guess to enable guessing (the min-speed option only configures the heuristic). 2) The length of the sidwalk is automatically adjusted after recomputing geometries (F5) or saving the network. If the length is wrong after that, please explain the problem in detail (with an anotated screenshot).
