I'm not a mathemetician but from a programming perspective Fer's 'main procedure' is elegant! I wrote a program that compared this procedure to the one from Jean Meeus' "Astromonical Algorithms" on page 372. The Meeus algorithm is far more complicated and slower. The results returned from both are very close. I don't know which one is more accurate, but I doubt it is the more complicated one! Thanks Fer! Tom
