Thorne 97.4 page 40 corrigenda to the article in bulletin 97.3 Many of your questions are answered in these articles. Some remarks : Don't incorpurate a latitude adjustment. This won't work. An altitude dial can't be corrected for use at another latitude. Use a V shaped hole in a rather thick material. Only the inner part then acts as the hole for the sun spot and that's just the right place. Fer.
