Thanks for the cartoon. At first I thought it was a cleverly adapted
satellite dish. How long before we get a detailed analysis of why the
dial in the cartoon is incorrect, not marked out properly, etc.???

PS: In a more serious vein, has anyone ever thought of collating a
scholarly inventory of dials in cartoon? Not just the images, but
also full details of the placee of original publication? Would be a
fun project.
