universal language ?

Dear David Higgon,   Nos tempos em que eu era jovem e trabalhava em aviões (piloto de B747) por vezes fazia estadias em Teeran (uma antiga Colónia Britanica) e admirava-me bastante de ninguém ali compreender o meu Shakespear. Coitados, ficavam como voce a ler estas linhas...   I suggest for the future universal language the Chinese. It is now spoken by about 1 300 000 ones and is increasing.   The only language we all (of list) can use is sen, cos, tan, ...   etc... .   Prosaic, isn't it ?   The errors in my English (?) mean that I lived 61 years with no need to know that language as I learnt in school.   jorge
