I once developed a spreadsheet to calculate and plot the design parameters for an analemmatic dial. This is based on the methods outlined by Albert Waugh in "Sundials, Their Theory and Construction ". The original Quattro Pro file calculated the hour angles and plotted both the x/y offsets and the date scale as an analemma. I have converted it to an Excel spreadsheet which calculates the parameters but the graphics are lost in the conversion. I can send it as an e-mail attachment to you or anyone else who is interested.
