Of course, sunset lasts longer at polar latitudes, so the flash should last longer and the opportunities for mulitple observations should be enhanced. This raises the interesting question of whether the green flash might last minutes, hours, or even days at the proper time of year for some locations within the polar circles. --Art Carlson
