Thanks to all those who went to check on my math and sundial thinking. I'm digesting and redoing a little patch of it as a result. I realize I should've also pointed out, as a matter of general sundial interest, that the site includes Book 9 of Vitruvius (in which he talks about astronomy and the construction of sundials and water clocks); in English only right this minute, but at the current rate, the Latin text should be up by Monday, and a French translation will probably be online as well in about 3 weeks.
