Oh, Yes that's right! If you mount the latitude crescent (as it is 
referred to in Mr. Schmoyer's instruction sheets) to the base clamp
on the other side of that crescent then turn the dial so the gnomon 
points to the celestial South pole, then you will have inverted the 
gnomon and reversed the numbering of the hours. The only problem would 
be that the numerals for the hours would be upside-down! Even so, 
I could still use my Schmoyer dial if I should ever move to Australia!
