I just learnd how to turn DXF images into GIF. So, I would like to share with everyone the focusing helical sundial I have been working on for the past year. Lord knows when the prototype will be done--maybe as early as spring. It is solid bronze and will weigh about 70 lbs. The focusing mirror is rhodium plated lapped bronze (I thought glass would be too fragile). Given the recent discussion on patents and copyrights, I sheepishly admit that a patent has been applied for. Bill Gottesman Burlington, VT
