I've always thought I should write something like
what Clem wrote, as quoted bellow. Being exposed
to the Internet for more than 12 years I have subscribed
to many many different lists. Most of them are
very good lists with very good professionals and
amateurs. I've learned a lot with all of them.

The truth is: I've never participated in a list
as enriching as this particular one. It seems behind
each sundialler there is a generous genius always
willing to share his/her ken and wisdom.

We have seen so many different things gravitating
around the all-encompassing theme "sundialling"...
Each one more interesting than the other.

And our compassionate moderator keeps his eyes closed
while we surf awry and away. He knows eventually we will
all converge back to the main subject: the glorious shadows.

Thank you all guys. And thank you Clem for reminding
me I should say this now, not in some virtual future
time.
