You have solved my Easter problem over and over and I am truly grateful. Was there life before the sundial newsgroup? How did we survive? I shall pass on the information to the chap who really needs to know. He is organising shore courses in Scotland for marine biologists and of course wants the best low tides. As I know from my experience in the same game those in the Easter holidays occur near Easter Sunday when students are at home. Why these tides? Because it is the full moon (real or ecclesiastical) which means spring tides. The Church has a lot to answer for. -- Frank Evans
