The following links to newspaper clippings on the Time Museum's closing. 
Briefly, Seth Atwood's family sold the motel housing the museum, and is
planning to dispose of the collection.

Does anyone know why the Time Museum in Rockford, Illinois was closed?
Their web site doesn't explain.
