That reminds me... I saw a similar catalog. Actually it was on the internet somewhere. The sundials-as-jewelry idea looked intriguing. But do you get the ray of light that shines directly through the hole focussed sharply enough to distinguish it from all the light that makes its way to the ring from the rest of the sky?
