For graphic conversion, if you use a Macintosh, consider this fine piece
of shareware:

It reads and writes the following formats. (see below) To do EPS
(postscript) you need a third-party utility for which there is a
separate charge. It does not do pdf, which I believe is proprietary.

It also has the advantage of being available in a great many different
languages.
