Dear all,
I found a picture
showing a portable sundial with equal hours
dating 1453. The dial has obviously a magnetic compass
to find a proper direction. The caption also says that
the dial is from the collection of the Science Museum in
London.
So that dial could be the oldest one?
Can anybody check this information?
