Dear friends, some months ago I had announced to Sundial List the pubblication of an article written by me and Cesare Lucarini about the construction of sundials using the diffraction produced on the surface of a CD from the rays of the solar light. The article has been published non only in Italian by "Astronomia" (Number 5, September-October 1999), but also in English on "The Compendium", Bulletin of NASS, North American Sundial Society, Number 3 - September 1999).
