I would like to thank all List Members who have shown some interest in
obtaining copies from this print run.

Several questions have been posed, so I will answer these collectively.

The cost was estimated at 20 pounds/$32 each, (assuming a run of about
25), and should not be different by more than plus/minus 30%. I will
actually pay the setup costs. It really depends on the quantities that
we run. Note that each 'pull' is taking about 20 minutes, so the labour
is the main cost. However, the paper is of high quality and is a
substantial proportion of the remaining cost. Naturally if costs
escalate, then there will be no obligation to those who have registered
an interest.

The printing is being done by a local firm who specialise in fine art
printing. Admittedly the technique required for making these this
prints is different to their usual output, but I have seen several trial
pulls, and these seem of excellent quality. It also shows that the
plate is still in good condition. Again, if you are not satisfied with
the final quality, then you may return it to me for refund.

The finished paper size will be approximately A4 or 'letter' leaving
plenty of border.

Payment may be made by cheque (UK) or by the equivalent in cash for most
foreign currencies. 20 pounds is not a lot to 'risk' in the mail. If
it were to go astray, it is not the end of the world. It also avoids
the high bank charges in negotiating foreign cheques, usually about 10
pounds!!.

Thumbnail sketches (.gif, approx. 22kB) have been sent to those asking
for them.

        Regards,
        Mike.
