A friend gave me a gadget that looks like some sort of solar tracker. It has a convex lens on top which looks to have a mirrored back and a small hole in the middle. Underneath the device is a circular scale marked for elevation and azimuth. If you hold the thing straight up uver your head and look in the bottom, a tiny bright spot shows where the sun is. I'll try and get some pictures of it.
