Hi Mac, Fer De Vries has included "stellar time" as an option in Zonwvlak. Karl Schwarzinger pointed this out to me and provided a design based on the Zonwvlak plot but reworked in a CAD program. It is a beautiful but complex design. This was my introduction to sundials telling star time. The product is still a sundial. The hour lines change with the date to show sidereal or star time rather than solar time. It is an interesting concept, worthy of further exploration. It is particularity useful for astronomers who could set their watches to sidereal time using a sundial and use this as a guide for their observations. This is why it may fit for the RASC site of the Alberta Star Party. Roger Bailey Walking Shadow Designs N 51 W115
