Optional IBM-PC Software ASTRONOMICAL ALGORITHMS
by Sax, one (1) 5.25-inch 360K or one (1) 3.25-inch 720K diskette, 8 Oz.
ship wt. $24.95. This software is sold only to purchasers of the book at
time of book purchase or later with the order form at back of book. The
disk contains source code for all the necessary routines for developers of
astronomical software, in one of three languages: Turbo Pascal 4.0 (or
higher), QuickBasic 4.5, and Microsoft C. You must specify language when
ordering. The availability of these routines and thousands of numerical
constants (including the 2430 periodic terms from Appendix II) as magnetic
media will allow programmers to concentrate on the application and the
presentation of the results. These diskettes are therefore useful to
beginners as well as experienced programmers. To illustrate how the various
routines work together, the following sample programs are provided. They
all use the routines in the library and cover all the important topics in
the book.
