10 page article entitled "Taking the Measure of Time" in the new issue
of Smithsonian. Includes many illustrations from their newly opened
permanant exhibition "On Time".

BTW there is a large triangular street sculpture in lower level plaza of
the McGraw Hill building on 6th Avenue in NYC. Each side of the triangle
claims to point to the sun at noon on the soltices and equinoxes. I'm
thinking of testing it out at noon on the 21st? to see if it works.
Besides they have an excellent science and engineering book shop a few
steps away in the same plaza.
