Let us not forget why this debate began in the
first place - to avoid long and expensive downloads for those afflicted
with high local call charges. It would be self-defeating if we regard
this new 'freedom to attach' small graphics as the norm rather than the
exception. In dialect Scots 'mony a meikle maks a muckle' and a large
group of messages with small attachments would take us back to square one.
Bravo Bill Bell for the free website idea for large items which must be
something akin to the 'dropbox' idea raised earlier.
