I made hand-held Hi8 video (PAL format not NTSC) of much of the tour visits and
the social aspects of the Conference just to give absent Brits some notion of
how things are done 'over there'. Despite subdued hotel lighting the interior
pictures are fine but, as Ken suggests, sound quality is variable.

There is also a slight risk that video-consciousness might inhibit presentation
style. That undignified tail-end presentation which developed into the frantic
style of a racetrack commentator in order to 'beat the clock' might have lost
some of its spontaneous humour! ;-)
