Fellow Shadow watchers,
My sore fingers and stiff neck remind me that the
delicately scrolled phosphor bronze gnomon I've been working for three solid
days is now almost complete. The dial is the reproduction of a 10" A/F octagonal
horizontal shown recently in my photoetching pictures.

Following Carlo Croce's excellent suggestion for smaller pictures the first set
of 11 JPEGs and a GIF only require 655k and deal with preparation of the metal
from an oversize/overthickness slab and my techniques for milling style edges
etc. with repeatable accuracy - and without the need for that essential extra
hand growing out of the middle of their chest which all machinists often wish
they had! :-)

There are now 59 people split into two lists to receive these pictures. Anyone
wishing to add or remove their name please let me know by early next week
please.

Best Wishes.

Tony the Metal Mangler.
