Hi John and all other dialists

In the current version (1.5.4) of Shadows, you can print the whole sundial
full sized on paper and you have some options to select which lines you want
to have (5 minutes, quater-hour, half hour, solstice curves, and so on).
It is a very simple way to have a print out.

But it's true there is no way to export the lines to a CAD program. I've
already received dozens of emails to urge me to implement such a function
;-)

I am now working on a new version (version 2.0) and I just started to
implement a DXF exportation function. With this function, you will be able
to customize the drawings in a CAD program.

In addition, because I think everybody do not want to use two programs (or
do not have a CAD program), I will add important functions like the
followings :
- ability to import an image or a clipart and put it and resize it on the
sundial
- ability to customize the text and lines (colors, thickness, font, ...)
- new types of hour lines (italic, babilonian)
just to quote the functions related to the discussion. I also plan to
introduce a lot of other features.

I just want to offer an easy-to-use Sundial generator, for the everyone,
from curious to sundial experts. My program has been downloaded by more than
5000 users in the world and they are not all experts in sundials and
mathematics.

Zonwlak has a lot of useful items for specialists, but is perhaps less easy
to understand and to learn. Just use both programs for what they each offer
the best.

Thanks
