Then there's "diallogue" which is not! a misspelling but rather a conversation specifically about dials. And Dialectrician:  one who modifies sundials with a motorized electric light which moves so that time can be told between sunset and sunrise.  This might, of course, boarder on heresy, but as a dialite (one not well versed in dials), I hope I will be forgiven.  I promise to go for dial-ysis to work on this mental aberration if you think it would help.
