I am a first-year physics student at Bristol University, United Kingdom. For an astronomy project I have to write about and make an extremely accurate sundial. The sundial is supposed to make adjustments automatically to get from local Sun time to clock time, as in the 'Equation of Time' which (I have been told) describes how a basic sundial runs slow and fast at various times during the year.
