Hello All:

Just a quick question. I'm currently working on the largest horizontal
flagstone sundial I've ever made. This rare piece of stone measures 61" x
45" x 2" or 165cm. x 114cm. x 5cm. It is destined to be placed at the
Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, here in Tucson. It is an analemmic
declinational monofilar heliochronometer similar to the sundial shown in
Rohr plate 19. I will be using my couterweighted brass cable style with an
attached brass ball serving as the nodus.

The Museum would like to do some publicity on the dial and we are wondering
if this could possibly be the largest single piece stone horizontal sundial
known. I've reviewed the sundial registry and have been unable to find a
larger one.

Does anybody know of a larger single piece stone horizontal dial in existence?

Thanks
