Steve, I had a problem similar to yours. I finally had the bronze work engraved by a photoengraver-I used SLN (Sign Letters Numbers) in Nanuet, NY, and they did a great job, including paint filling the lines. I had to send them the artwork in Adobe Illustrator (AI) format. I first designed it on DeltaCad, then imported it into adobe illustrator and tidied it up. The proportions were perfectly maintained. I did not own adobe illustrator, but Kinko's Copy Center rented use of their computer, and the program, for $12/hr. I bought a book at Barnes and Noble on how to use AI, and it didn't take too long.
