Hello again: I just had an afterthought. Maybe it would be possible to use Paint (in Windows. program accessories) instead of Adobe illustrator for plotting and engraving???
Steve Lelievre showed me how to paste Delta Cad drawings into Paint as bit maps in order to e-mail a Delta Cad drawing attachment to recipients who don't have Delta Cad. Maybe the plotters and engraving machines can understand a BMP Paint file of a Delta Cad drawing. Paint is free and very simple, but doesn't do all the great things that Adobe illustrator can do.
