It is a multifacet dial made by David Brown for Christ Church, Oxford and the reclining south face is numbered in binary code with 00111 for 0700 hrs, 01000 for 0800 hrs, etc. It is described and illustrated in the BSS Bulletin for June 2000 Frank, 55N 1W -- Frank Evans
