Hello
I am a french student (sorry for my bad english). I visited this summer the
antic city of Knidos in the south of Turkey. In the ruins of the town, there
was a strange sundial. It was invented by the greek mathemacian Eudoxus
(native of Knidos). There is no styles on the sundial or better there are
two. The place to read the hour isn't even, it is a sort of parabola where
there are 12 "meridians". You can see the diagram I've made on
http://dirigeables.free.fr/eudoxus.jpg

As you see I am not an expert on gnomonic. However, I would like to built a
sundial like that.
I didn't find anything on the Web. Can you help me?

Merci d'avance.
