Greetings fellow dialists,
I am wondering if anyone is engaged with moon dials these days. I am not
thinking of sundials with tables of correction for the moon such as the
famous dial in Queens College, Cambridge but something like the
remarkable horizontal sun and moon dial made in Wales in 1803 by Isaac
Morris, where the corrections to the sun hour shown by the moon's shadow
are applied graphically. Any takers? Just curious, having been mightily
impressed by Morris's dial on the recent BSS tour of North Wales.
