I had an older Panasonic full-sized VHS camcorder, that would take a
one-second burst, once per minute. Used it during a remodel, and it was a
fun movie! Obviously, 60:1 compression, so your dial documentary would run
14.5 minutes. (Hmm. Isn't that how much time was "lost" from Nixon's phone
recorder?)
