I saw your message expressing an interest in sundials which show standard time. There is a type of dial which uses "unfolded" analemmas to give "clock" time without any physical manipulation of parts of the sundial, or any need to switch dial plates twice a year.
As I recall there are pictures of at least two such dials on the excellent web site of Frans Maes. I have made some dials of this type and, if you wish, can send you pictures as email attachments.
