Isn't this just the distilled fascination of our wonderful interest?  The 
analemmatic principle has been known and applied for centuries and 
suddenly here is an entirly innovative way of looking at it.  The 
conventional wisdom of 'you can't have an analemmatic dial with 
hourlines' has just evaporated in a moment in dialling history.
