I only saw it once very early on a summer morning when the mist made the sun viewable with the naked eye. It sat like a huge glowing boiled egg set perfectly in one of the cooling towers of Stella Power Station on the Tyne for all the world like a giant eggcup. And me without a camera! The caption for the photograph was going to be 'Solar Energy' but despite carrying a camera ever after it was never repeated. Tony Moss -
