Hi Mike, I was hoping someone could tell me where Tong Hall is, but other clues tell me it might be in Yorkshire. Until I get confirmation, I better not say it's in Shropshire.

I've received both upside down and rightside up photos of Dial 7, so I don't know it's current orientation, but in any case, I think I should leave to photo rightside up so that viewers don't get confused.

Thanks

John,
Great job with the stained glass sundial site.

Dial 7.  I seem to remember going to see the stained glass sundial in Ledbury a few years ago, and being surprised to find that it had been reinstalled upside down, i.e. with the 12 noon at the top instead of the bottom. I assumed the installer thought it should look like a clock.  It may have been turned the right way up by now, or the photo may be upside down.  Perhaps someone who lives nearby could check.

Dial 47  Tong Hall dial - Unknown city, England
There is a small town (a village really) called Tong, in Shropshire, England, so it's probably there.
