Hey Dave, look at this email!  This guy actually lives in Henry Gyles' house!   According to him we have to make some changes to Dial 5.   1. change name to: The Gray's Court Dial   2. Maker: attributed to Henry Gyles  (J.T.Brighton, 'Henry Gyles, Virtuoso and Glasspainter of York 1645 -1709').   3. Original Location: Gray's Court at St John's College (now the University College of Ripon and York St John, York England)   4. Present Location: J.T.Brighton suggests it is not in its original location and was designed for someplace else.    5. He also suggests it is not its original location. I suspect one would need a technical expert from the British Sundial society to work out the original latitude to find where it might be from! I'm not sure if Gray's Court is still part of their campus.
